"6/6" Eye Test Caravan in Nubia

In Egypt, they don't refer to perfect eyesight as 20/20. The say 6/6. The "6/6 Eye Test Caravan", supported by the Gozour Foundation and the CIB Foundation, visits school children in poor and remote parts of Egypt to provide eye tests, glasses, medication, and eye health awareness.

Hepatitis C Treatment and Awareness Sessions in Menya

Egypt has the highest incidence of Hepatitis C virus in the world, and so the Egyptian Liver Care Society created the program, "Children Without Virus C". With the support of the CIB Foundation, this program screens at-risk children throughout the country, and provides treatment and awareness sessions free of charge.

According to the World Health Organisation, to sustain Egypt’s demand for blood, at least 3% of the population must be regular donors. However, Egypt is only at an estimated 1%. For this reason, the CIB Foundation regularly organises blood donation campaigns in CIB head offices and branches.
